    The City of Lexington and The Lexington Redevelopment Commission welcomes you to the new source for information on the planning and design of the Lexington Depot District. This effort, known as A Way Forward, is focused to shape the growth of the city for the benefit of the citizens in Lexington and Davidson County. These are exciting times for our region and city, and we invite your participation to ensure a course towards revitalization that best reflects the needs, goals, aspirations and capabilities of the community at large. Our goal is to create a vibrant, supported destination that is economically, socially and environmentally beneficial to our area, where members of the community work together in making it a great place to be!

    OUTREACH

    Through our process of planning the Depot District, we want to know what you, the community of Lexington, thinks. This process includes a number of community-wide workshops over the course of the following months. Understanding the views of the community at large about issues is equally important in the planning process. If you are not able to attend one or any of these sessions, we still wish to know your views! We invite you add your voice to those of your fellow citizens by taking these surveys as they become available.
